I started an LJ for the purposes of housing reviews and following all the fun conversation since LJ sucked most of my Yahoogroups dry like a vampire. The attention whoring was a bonus feature. :> (Speaking of sob stories, Dad went out last weekend to his first social function since this all began. It wore him out, but he's getting back into the swing of things.)

You aren't kidding! My discussion boards were like a ghost town afterwards! In the end I started a LJ just to find someone to talk to again!

Date: 2005-01-11 08:06 pm (UTC)I enjoy posting my thoughts, but I get an even bigger charge out of finding the thoughts of interesting people and friending them. A number of peole have told me I've got quite the eclectic mix in my friends list.
