Sunday Seven
Haven't been as productive this week as I'd hoped, but I'm still chugging along:
1) Paper bag full of sewing patterns - freecycled (more will go on ebay) This reduces my sewing pattern collection by 2/3, which was my goal.
2) Kitchen Cabinet - had to be removed due to making space for new stove; top was ripped off and made to fit replacement cabinet. Thrown out.
3) Floor Lamp - long since broken; I put it out for the trash but since it was gone before the garbage men came, I think it freecycled itself.
4) Old software - goes to Mac computers that no longer function. Freecycled.
5) 2 boxes random silk, velvet, and lace scraps. One given away to friends; the other freecycled.
6 & 7) 2 old filing cabinets; bag of mixed binders, report covers, pocket portfolios and tabs; two bags of binders. All freecycled to a woman setting up a recovery center for the homeless. I've kept her card; any future office supplies I cull will go straight to her.
On next week's chopping block is a decision - I got one of those vibrating massage mats at a yard sale. It works, and it was very inexpensive... but it's also very bulky and I don't use it often.
