The Return of the Sunday 7
Nov. 16th, 2008 07:43 amThere has been a certain amount of upheaval in my life from around last September, and one of the first things to get jettisoned was the Sunday 7, rapidly followed by the posting of the monthly resolution count.
It didn't take long until I didn't *have* anything to post for either, and I don't think it's much of a surprise that major tasks aren't being dealt with and the clutter levels are rising. So even though I think only two of you don't skip right over this, today marks the return of the Sunday 7. When I get back from England, New Year's resolutions and a monthly recap will follow.
This week I have accomplished:
1) Clearing out the old art supplies, and putting old acrylic paint and a tie-dye T-shirt kit up for freecycle.
2) Clearing out old house paint and tossing the buckets that didn't slosh when shaken.
3) Setting 3 clip lamps out for freecycle
4) Removing an old sideboard from the basement so shelving can be put there.
5) Getting the out-of-season clothing out of my bedroom.
6) Calling to confirm the London hotel and beginning the London notebook
7) Designing a travel knitting project.
I have a long list of tasks for today as well, starting with filling out some paperwork so the office will send me to a training class, go through setting up shelving, and ending with an as-yet-unstarted fic challenge that's due Real Soon Now. (I have my couple and my cliches; I'm having a surprisingly hard time turning it into crackfic. That's my fault for picking Torchwood cliches, probably.)
