Gary Russell has the power to pull his interpretation of Rory and Amy from the tie-ins to influence the show... and I hope he does. I'm only a few more pages ahead of last night (last night was kind of busy) and it's still so early in the book that there's no guarantee how the plot will work out.
But if I thought I loved Rory onscreen, the Rory of this book is 1000x better, and Amy's coming out better too. And what makes it all so fabulous is that it isn't Rory and Amy 2.0, it's exactly who we saw onscreen... now we just know more of what they're thinking.
