Watsonian Knitting

The link list is getting unwieldy again, so there'll be a dump tonight or tomorrow (and I'm getting so lazy about it that I may start using Send Tab URLs to do most of the work, as in below). Pretty dark stuff, but I can certainly see it: How You Survive the War, in which John finds out Sherlock was an abused child. Worth the read but triggery. NSFW


Character Study
I love this one like pie: The Little Things that Sherlock does for John.

This verges on angst: Faint Like A Heartbeat; Sherlock's thoughts right after The Great Game... as he sits by John's hospital bed.

I'm not sure if this belongs here or under Crack, but it's definitely the best of the John knits stories: A Temporary Hobby (This one even verges on true; knitting is used as therapy and in WWII was specifically used as physical therapy for soldiers wounded in the hands or arms)

Mycroft tries to warn John away from Sherlock again. Worked about as well as the first time. The Talk


Crack

I'm told this is utterly hilarious... if you're familiar with the Mornington Crescent game, which I wasn't. The Goodge Street Gambit and the Controversial Non-Holmesian Principle (Fayjay reads it here)

It's on the kinkmeme, although it itself is SFW: a very silly fic in which Sherlock is a squirrel (literally!) and helps Mrs. Hudson solve crime. (John is on the outs with other squirrels because he still smells of human after having been taken to a shelter after being run over by a car.) If you can wrap your mind around a mashup of Sherlock, Beatrix Potter, and Miss Marple, A Study in Squirrels (art here) Technically WIP, although it could stand alone as is.

Smut and Nothin' But (All NSFW)

This is rather unsettlingly kinky. On the other hand... I totally wouldn't be surprised. Undercurrents, in which John agrees to act out a murder and Sherlock really gets off on crime scenes.

Verging on crack, The Plan John had a plan, and its name was Get Some Sex. And the capitals were most certainly necessary. Get Some Sex was really only a subset of the main plan at work, namely Get Over Stupid, Ill-Conceived Crush On Flatmate. That one wasn't going so well, but John figured it was early days yet The ending is obvious, but getting there is pretty funny.

The billing is that Sherlock is soaking John in through every sense. The reality is rather sweet PWP: Senseless
