Well, that was stupid

Short, because v short period of numbness.

Was cooking for Mycroft (potluck) in a roaster oven.

Tapped back of oven w/wet hand.

Now, 2nd deg burns over 3 fingers.

Got through Mycroft w/hand in ice water.

Freaked when saw # of blisters forming. Also, OW.

Went to Urgent Care. Told to go to ER immediately.

Wish I had a picture of the "oh, fuck me" face ER doc gave when told that. Given percocet (doing nothing) and told to see specialist if and only if can't move fingers or lots of blisters burst.

In meantime, two nurses show me their cooking scars.

Putting hand back in ice now, bye.
