A bunch of links while I throw myself into finishing the recap and then hopefully another story chapter:

Reviewing the Evidence is back from hiatus, and has my reviews for Murder Can Crash Your Party (guess the Dear Author letter this one spawned!) and The Mammoth Book of Jack the Ripper.

Blogtor Who has photos of Tennant's Hamlet, a modern dress production.

How long until someone reverse-engineers a knitting version of this sock pattern?

I've seen a sock pattern a bit like that on Knitty -- instead of being knit on circular needles, the pattern started at the top of the sock then worked down to the toe and back up the other side of the sock, joining along the side seams. I fancied making them, but haven't attempted it yet. (http://www.knitty.com/issuefall07/PATTcinderella.html)

I wish the Cinderella one had a picture of the sock in progress, or a full chart. It would make it much easier to visualize. The photo of the Turkish one makes it so clear!

That DOES look doable! I tend to avoid knitting patterns that involve circular needles or use to double pointed needles because I confuse easily, which means I don't make mittens or socks. THIS I could handle! Hurrah!
