Thank you kindly!

I just found out that a handful of people nominated "God Send Me Well to Keep" as the Unreality SF Tie-in Story of the Year.

The phrase "not a snowball's chance" springs to mind, as witnessed by my not making it anywhere near the finals - but considering that I thought it would be forgotten 20 minutes after publication, I am very grateful to that handful of y'all that thought of it, and thought it that worthy.

Are you kidding? That remains one of my favourite BF Short Trips' stories I read last year (along with Rob Shearman's Terpsichore: Teach Yourself Ballroom Dancing)!

So congratulations!!

*chuffed* Really? Thank you!

I don't think it's particularly strong compared to some other things I've written; I'd let myself be intimidated by the deadline and the check.

Yes really!! I read about 8 different BF:Short Trips collections last year and those two stories stand out in my memory.

It's easy to let things intimidate!
