Yeah, we noticed that, too. We could barely tell the bit about "blue" in her outfit.
Turns out the bottom (half or so) of Kate's skirt was embroidered!! Once I had gotten anything like a close-up look at it, I still thought it was probably brocade. But I am so glad she didn't wear white-white; this was a great color on her.
Still can't reconcile myself to Camilla's outfit, color-wise. Hat was beautiful, of course - then again, of course, it was a Treacy.
And, it has to be said: both Beatrice & Eugenie need to have trainers or keepers when they go out shopping (Whip & a chair? Stun guns? Tasers?). Eugenie specifically needs to either lose the weight or dress to it - one or the other, please! Vivian Westwood & generous curves do not do well together - the term "couch" comes to mind (I don't think I'd dare be dressed by her, & everyone's always telling me how thin I still am!). Of course, Eugenie did much better than Beatrice when it came to the after-party:
