Resolution update

I was going to wait until Thursday night to do this, but I'd rather be at the early admissions for Malice. And all the stuff I have to do between now and then is boring crap that doesn't get checklists, like bleeding the radiators and doing the laundry. So...

Guys, this month by month "do this" list? Is not working for me. I keep wanting to do something that I'm "not supposed" to be doing yet, or not getting something done in a month or whatever, and it's all just too overthought. So it's back to sorting the list by type of project, with the mental note that I have to spend at least two weeks a month dealing with *something* on this list.

To Be Read: 149

2005 Resolutions

HANDIWORK
- Cutting Y2K patches down to size
- Cross-stitching Tudor roses on black twill bodice Nothing like having your embroidery machine eat an expensive purchased costume - twice! - to make you start readjusting some priorities. DragonBear has a tudor rose pattern that could be easily turned into a "stupid project" by painting the design onto removable canvas, which will be removed after said rose is stitched onto a dress. (Not needing to think while working is kind of a key item of the handiwork project.)

As for the "I'll exercise every day" thing, I failed. It's the usual thing - there always seems to be something else that needs to be done, although I will argue that walking for Team Wench and mowing a double-lot lawn counts as partial exercise.
