My Borders had no problem with the Potter sale. Went in at 8, got my tickets, did laundry until 11, showed up -- lots of parents and kids running around hitting a dragon pinata, got in line, and spent my money.

The big problem, and I'll take it up with my Borders, is that I bought another book supposedly with my discount coupon -- and it didn't get credited. SInce I'd put off buying the book until I had the coupon, I'm a bit miffed.

By tonight though, they should have calmed down.

As for your comment -- yep. But I think Rowling's doing her usual level of subtly.
