This is the most unexpected breast cancer research charity thingie I have ever seen. (worksafe)

...and I notice Amazon.com has it for about $40 cheaper, still with the donation to the Susan G. Komen foundation.

We were at the local Target and they had an entire WALL of pink colored kitchen items, including the mixer.

I agree the thought is important, but the idea of outfitting my kitchen so it looks like it was hosed down with Pepto Bismol is a little stomach churning.

I figure, I've already got the Pampered Chef pink clips and measuring cup, although a blender is a really big jump.

On the other hand, another part of me is going "Target, eh? There's a Target near me, I can at least look at the thing." Although I was there on Sunday and no pink at all.

On the fence. I kinda want a new blender; pink wouldn't be my first choice, but for $50 for research, I could live with it.

Oh and I totally agree about the upside of purchasing! I've done a few Breast Cancer walks and have donated a lot to the research cause myself.

It's just the visual is a tad overwhelming.
