Two things brought a smile to my face this cold, soggy day:
1) Dr. Saccio on the taped class saying "I strongly suggest you read [the sonnet] along, unless you're driving a car" just as I shifted gears.
2) Getting a "Hey, cool! Thanks!" email forwarded from the author about my review in this week's Reviewing the Evidence. Considering that I called her book "cute piffle" and said one of the main characters didn't work, I'm extremely pleased that she's pleased!
