My determination to run northward despite snow and finances only got stronger when my basement flooded again last night.
Two nights in a row, people. Roughly 14 hours after the last WSSC crew removed their equipment, the backup was even WORSE.

maureen_the_mad, who is having a far, far harder week than I am, deserves a medal for dealing with the plumbers. I couldn't speak to anyone at WSSC without screaming last night.
On the other hand, the wood is all gone from my lawn. The guys next door have put one of the bigger pieces in their lawn with a sculpture on it.
