Another member of my flist took the idea and ran with it -- I managed to get "in on it" though... the non-equipment-specific version (i.e. interface, but no built-in-player) has already been ordered and should be arriving in Woodbridge in a few days. I think the person who ordered it is #1 on the queue, I'm #2, and #3 won't be ready for a few months.

Since I *own* a both a decent turntable and a decent tape deck, if you wanted to plan to come on up here or bribe me to come down there, we could probably knock out a good chunk of your collection in a few afternoon/evenings when it does come to me.
