Die, phishers, die!

I keep getting that paypal "you have just bought a $700 computer from Dell, go pay" phishing email. Guys, I didn't fall for it the first 87 times, and I'm not going to suddenly have a brain fart and fall for it now, even if you're trying 3 times a day.

I much prefer the ones that look like a PayPal invoice telling me that so-and-so has received my payment of, say, $450.31 for my brand new cellphone. On an e-mail address I've never even registered with PayPal.

Methinks P.T. Barnum was too kind.

I haven't entirely figured out how that one is supposed to work. Are you supposed to hit all the phishing links screaming "I need that money back"?

Although for sheer amusement, there was the time I was getting hard spammed with the ebay phishing one when I was also in a couple of active auctions. So my inbox looked like this!

Your bid has been accepted
Your account on ebay will be suspended
