Moisturizer?

Having run all over town and even down to Annapolis where I first found it, I have discovered that tinted moisturizer is "out" - all that's left is discounted stuff and self-tanning moisturizers, which are not at all what I want.

What I really want is Burt's Bees tinted moisturizer, which no longer exists; what I'll make do with is Milan's tinted moisturizer, which is half off, presumably because it is about to cease existing.

So... what moisturizers do y'all use, tinted or not? I'm going to need something in a couple of months.

If it doesn't have to be tinted, then maybe lush would have something? Dream Cream is quite gentle.

Never mind "moisturise me", now might be a good time to "exterminate" me ! o_O

I used to use clinique's but have been out for couple months now and winter finally hit my skin hard, so I made an emergency run to the pharmacy down the block, picked the rather bland looking "Purpose" (by johnson and johnson, I think white and sky blue box.) "Dual treatment moisture lotion w/ spf 15, uva and uvb sunscreen, all that other good for you oil free stuff"

I wasn't expecting much, but it really works for my skin (occasional hormonal tzone breakouts, mostly normal, occasional dryness when the weather's being particularly crisp).

And it's not that expensive.

Umm... depends, Burt's Bees still makes a tinted lip balm-type moisturizer- and they still have a facial moisturizer that's tinted...

I use LUSH moisturizers myself. Gorgeous is fantastic, but uber pricey. I've also had good luck with Imperialis and Enzymion.

All these moisturizers are made of natural ingredients, and if you happen to be lucky enough to live by a store, you don't have to wait for shipping, and you could even maybe snag a sample before you commit, as many are pricey.

Aveda Tinted Moisturizer. I love this stuff. I've been using it instead of foundation for a few years now.

I bought a tube of Burt's Bees tinted moisturizer a while back, but have been disappointed with it -- leaving it in my con makeup kit (which sometimes has to sit in a hot car for quite a while) caused it to separate, and I couldn't get it to recombine. I suspect that if you were to squeeze it out into a container and manually remix it, it would still be good. If you'd like it, drop me an e-mail with your address and I'll send it along to you in the interest of decluttering!

If you want something tinted, there's Kiehl's Ultra Tinted Moisturizer (http://www.kiehls.com/_us/_en/face/ultra-facial-tinted-moisturizer-spf-15.htm), and they also make a non-tinted version (still has SPF 15) (http://www.kiehls.com/_us/_en/face/ultra-facial-moisturizer-spf-15.htm) that's slightly cheaper.

I've used the non-tinted version and love it, and if you really want UV protection there's Clarins UV Plus with SPF 40 (http://us.clarins.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?partNumber=C010410004&storeId=10051&catalogId=10204&langId=-1&productId=23813). It's expensive but it lasts forever.

I've been using the Neutrogena Oli-Free Moisturizer for some time now and am very happy with it--I use the tinted version, and it works pretty well on my extremely fair skin. I've also used their Healthy Defense Moisturizer, and while that one works pretty well (my sister uses it), the tint was a little dark on me. Available in drugstores everywhere. :)

My moisturizer is the Eucerin "Redness Relief" moisturizer which is, erm, green. Yes, green, which means it takes the red in my complexion down. I then put a tinted moisturizer on over it - lately I've been using a cheapy one from "Wet & Wild", but it's a good match and doesn't make my face itch. Roomie swears by the Neutrogena Healthy Defense tinted moisturizer (SPF 30), which I've also tried and quite liked. But I really like the green stuff, just because it evens out the red blotches. And I can make "Wicked" jokes when I put it on in the morning!
