See, I can actually buy off on Clive and Francine, simply because of the shared hell they went through together. Yes, he was a selfish, thoughtless prick to leave her for a skinny young blonde, but then again, she also betrayed her own daughter to the Master (albeit with the best of intentions), so it's not like either one was entirely blameless.

But Chrissie Jackson? Jesus Christ, I think I'd rather let kids be raised by crack addicts, pedophiles or Dina Lohan than that woman. She and Sylvia Noble are neck-and-neck for the title of Worst Parent in the Whoniverse, and at least Sylvia has the advantage of receiving a Dire Fucking Warning from the Doctor to be a better parent. If Chrissie was my mom, I think I'd rather hear the sounds of gunshots coming from my own bedroom than to hear her voice.
