A bunch of links while I throw myself into finishing the recap and then hopefully another story chapter:

Reviewing the Evidence is back from hiatus, and has my reviews for Murder Can Crash Your Party (guess the Dear Author letter this one spawned!) and The Mammoth Book of Jack the Ripper.

Blogtor Who has photos of Tennant's Hamlet, a modern dress production.

How long until someone reverse-engineers a knitting version of this sock pattern?

You know, I love me some Tennant, but he is simply too damn old to play Hamlet. It's like 30 year olds playing Romeo & Juliet.

Eh, he looks young enough when seen from stage, I think. You have to be up close to see he's in his 30s instead of very early 20s.

Actually, I seem to recall from my college Shakespeare class that contextually, Hamlet *IS* in his thirties, hence speculation amongst various characters that Hamlet is ambitiously frustrated by the fact that Uncle Claudius is on the throne instead of HIM.....

Also, I don't know how old Sir Ian McKellen was in 1975-76 when I saw him onstage in London as Romeo, but I remember thinking he looked too old in the program to pull it off -- was I ever wrong!
