Fic Rec - Blue

When you rec a fic so often in comments, it's time to top-post: The Sapphire and Steel crossover Blue by ionlylurkhere. If you don't know S&S, all you need to know is that they investigate temporal anomalies and Sapphire has the ability to "read" the history of items with a touch.

Until she touches the big blue box...

Even if you don't watch or listen to S&S, it's a worthy read for TARDIS fans; it rarely gets to talk from its POV.

FYI, not familiar with Sapphire & Steel at all, and the cue you gave was enough to make it comprehensible. I've never yet been disappointed by one of your fic recs, even though I'm really not a Dr. Who fan at all; you have a knack for picking the ones that are universally accessible.

Hey, I've never heard the S&S audios{*} and I wrote the fic.

{*} lie - I think there was a preview episode one time during my phase of being a BF subscriber and I listened to that, but it didn't inspire me to pick them up.

Is it really? *is amused* It's a great fic. I hesitated for a while to rec it simply because I wasn't sure how well the flist knew Sapphire and Steel, but it's such an interesting take on the TARDIS!
