Randomosity

[livejournal.com profile] lemonlye is is doing Tweets of great books. Jane Eyre is hilarious. She's posted an open call to play along.

That's the last part of the post that isn't about me, fair warning.

The reason I've had trouble naming the car is apparently that, like the Doctor, it wants a title. Therefore, it is "the travelpod."

Said Travelpod is the only thing ready for MediaWest, because I sure ain't. I've got to pack, pull together the assorted things I've been asked to bring and drop, get food, pull samples from Big Finish for the panel, and make a t-shirt. I don't remember having much luck with homemade iron-ons, but it's been a long time since the 70s.

And I think I'm going to have to take some time out to see Star Trek just because all the cool kids have. That and, while I don't mind spoilers, at this rate I'm going to know every scene by heart before I walk into the theater.

Veiled reviewer comment - the book was light as a feather, as is the entire series, but after the smear job done on renaissance festivals by a different author, it's nice to read a book by someone who gets them and enjoys them.

This particular method is for dark shirts. All of the New Burbage shirts I've done have been on red shirts.

Sure, I'd love a copy of the TARDIS design - thanks!

Hmmm... I've got an extra pale gray, which may be too light, but I may also have an extra red. If not, a quick swing by Target should offer up a range of possibilities.

The transfer came out beautifully, by the way! Now I've got 5 more sheets and a nearby Target selling T-shirts, and burgeoning plans. The world needs some Sarah Jane Adventures T-shirts!

Already dropped the TARDIS design onto my thumbdrive for you.
