This is the post where most people would be writing that they're doing a flist cut, and it's not you, it's me, etc.

Which I sort of am doing, but I'm not actually cutting anyone. I *am* dropping a lot of comms and some folks off the reading filter over the next few days. It's not you, honestly, it's me and the fact that I spend WAY TOO MUCH TIME online, and between Sherlock being in the first flush of enthusiastic fannish output and Sarah Jane Adventures about to premiere - well, something's gotta give, and I've gotten old enough that it's not going to be my sleep anymore.

I apologize in advance to the folks who get shuffled off, but if it's any consolation, I'm not actually cutting you...

Considering that I'm trying to reclaim time, it's actually of the good to not be Post McPosterson. :) Objectively speaking, I need to winnow down the average daily feed by about 20-30 posts, so it's high volume comms that are getting the whack first.

The same friend who 'bootlegged' TORCHWOOD and the first two seasons of SarahJane Adv. for me last year has agreed to do the same with SHERLOCK (in exchange for all the homemade lasagna he can eat next Sat. night), because just from what I've seen in clips and AMVs on YouTube, I think I'ma gonna like this version of Holmes&Watson even more than RDJ & JL (is possible?).

P.S. My time off work for ChicagoTARDIS Con has been approved -- I just have to figure out what to do about Thursday....

Actually, probably not until Friday like last year.... I'm trying to figure out the Extended Family Thanksgiving plans; sounds like Mom and Dad might be headed towards Texas (Youngest Sister's bunch)leaving us three elder sibs at loose ends. Nothing's finalized yet.

Just two days off is skip=160. I'm hoping to drop at least 20 regular posts off the day because I really, really need to get that number down.
