For those who aren't into cats, [livejournal.com profile] wordsindreams has massive picspams of Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman The journal name is not worksafe, and although the shirtless BC shot at the end of the page is SFW... if not safe for your hormones.

I don't know - Mum seems fairly sure they won't get another cat again - she says Shade was irreplaceable and she's never said that about a cat before. (Not only have we had cats pretty much all my life, she's had them pretty much all her life, and she's in her early 60s now.)

And they're only 3/5 of your feline population....

Thought-provoking to realize that the zipper down Mulder's belly, the Cone of Shame, the isolation upstairs, all the pills, the coaxing him to eat, the Yippee when he finally pooped... all that could have been avoided if he just hadn't spent a few seconds eating the wrong thing. I am trying to get this across to Robin.....

Not only hadn't eaten the wrong thing, but suddenly decided to eat the wrong thing after ignoring it for 14 months of his life. What, suddenly now it's tasty?

It looked at him funny. He had to teach it a lesson. See how well that worked?

Someone got schooled. I think it was us!

Part of the problem is those little spines on the feline tongue. Great for grooming, but once you get thomething thtuck on them, it'th hard to get it off, and easier to just keep on swallowing....

Interview with B Cumberbatch, for those interested:

He doesn't look that ashamed to be wearing a cat lampshade.

He took it with surprising dignity, actually. It was silly to see him try to groom himself through it, though.
