Resolutions, 2011

I was going to post an updated resolution list for November, and then thought "oh, screw it." There won't be anymore little resolutions this year, on the basis that all I have to do for the next few weeks is get ready for Christmas and crank out a Sherlock fic. As for the original set of resolutions... well, there was a 10-week period there where everything went wahooni-shaped anyway.

So, what have I accomplished in 2011? A bunch of little things, and three that I'm proud of:

1) I did major renovations on two rooms and a hallway.
2) I learned how to "read" knitting on the needles.
3) I damn well survived all the shit this year threw at me.

Can't comment on #2, but there is much to be said for #1 and especially for #3.

Hey, you did more than this! You also took your classes and did lots of organizing. I've been impressed by how you sort out and tackle the tasks that you want to get done. That you did it all between things catching on fire and getting smashed by cars just makes it that much more impressive.

So far, nothing has caught on fire - don't give 2011 ideas!

The classes come under "little stuff" when all is said and done, and I'm not sure you'd call me organized if you knew the piles that are still in the renovated rooms! :)
