Nonpartisan post: Check Your Voter Registration

Voter ID laws are changing in several states; others are clearing out registration rolls. The Election Assistance Commission webpage will let you know if you are listed as a registered voter in your state and if you need to show ID at the polls. Links are available for information on voter registration, voter ID, volunteering as a poll worker, and absentee ballots.

Better to check now, with two months to fix any issues, than to get a nasty surprise on Tuesday in November.

Good idea! But no need for me.. I come from the only state with NO voter registration. ;)

if you are in Virginia, especially Loudoun County, double-check your voting location. With the gerrymandering that made for an all-Republican board, they consolidated a number of voting locations and you might not be voting in the same place you used to (never mind not be represented by anybody you ever voted for).
