In search of baked bean recipe

I am looking for a recommended from-scratch recipe for baked beans. Preferably with bacon and honey instead of salt pork and molasses, but I'll take anything with a rec.

My mom's 3-bean baked beans are always a hit. The 1 year she made something different for the family Christmas party, she was sternly told to never do that again
