No longer a velveteen writer

I really do feel like I'm a real writer right now. I'm starting an essay in one fandom, I just shipped off an essay in another fandom (initially discussed several months ago), I'm waiting to hear about a year-old pitch in a third fandom, and all everybody wants to talk about is something I wrote 2 years ago based on a 5+ year old comment.
