Major, major props for commentor "Entropy" for this line: "Hint: A real editor is a good thing"

Not up there with the famous Rice rant, though, as she hasn't started going on about interrogating texts or Dickensian principles.

I'd like to say I'm surprised, but when Doctor Who started up again in March, the flood of "shipper" ficwriters was almost frightening to behold. And now that there's a male companion on board, you can hear the saliva dripping from the slashers.

And I no longer wonder why Hamilton's books sell so well.
