Sunday misc

Today is the perfect day to go to the rennfaire, but I'm staying in and being an adult. Which sucks. Swapping wardrobes, doing a billion loads of laundry, final unpacking from Rome and cleaning up my room... I've got a ton to do.

Which is why I'm avoiding it all online, naturally.

Posting only because I need to get back into habit of Sunday 7. Which will be all clothing; I'm going through the summer wardrobe as it goes into the drawer and the winter one as it comes out. Also, there's going to be a drive for women's professional clothing at work starting next week, and I've got a nice twinset and a lovely jacket... that I haven't worn in two years. May they bring some woman great luck job hunting.

Am trying to find some time in my life to work in 6 minutes of daily strength training in much the manner that I'm doing the morning yoga. Except I don't want to do it first thing in the morning along with the yoga, as I don't want to get up even earlier just to fit it in. Can't think of any other occasion where I'd have 6 minutes hands-free to play... am semi-seriously thinking of putting the hand weights either by the toilet or the monitor. Maybe nail a resistance band to the computer cart?

Mmmmm, speaking of rennfaires, I was at Borders yesterday and a book caught my eye, 'Damsels in Distress' -- can't remember the author, and my immediate thought was: "Is THIS the awful book Nea mentioned?"

Checked the dustjacket blurb, and oMG I think it was..... so, Nea, when does the review go public?

Naturally I didn't buy it.... I went for a manga and the paperback Q-title installment of CND's Midnight Louie series instead.

*cough*yes*cough* I have no power over when (or even if) reviews go up. I have received notice that we're not going to update for this week because our webmistress is ill.

What about making the strength training part of your bedtime routine, as the yoga is part of your morning routine? It might have the extra benefit of making you more tired and ready for sleep.
