A couple of years ago, I set myself a goal - I was going to knit a throw based on the Rambling Row pattern. I remember happily stitching away at ChicagoTARDIS, talking to jennetj and nnwest. I finished every block, declared success on LJ, and put the pieces away to be stitched together... sometime.

I found the bag of pieces today.

I'm going to unpick every stitch and turn all that soft Svale into socks.

Crazy lady. Imagine making up that blanket, it on your lap growing as you go along and keeping you warm while the snow falls, and falls, and falls...

It was knitted on #9s and thus is practically lace. Not so much with the warm.

But so, so very soft. It will make lovely socks!

I love Svale and have enough for tanks in black and white. I really need to knit those.
