To estimate how long it will take to do a task, estimate how long you think it should take, double it, and switch to the next higher unit. Therefore we allot two days for a one-hour job, four weeks for a two-day job, etc.
Seriously, you're getting it done, just not as fast as you hoped-- as with pretty much everything in life. Well, my life, anyway.
