Ready for work and nowhere to go

They actually did it. Threw hundreds of thousands of people out of work to make sure millions of people won't get healthcare. I just went from having a big bonus and all my leave planned out through the end of the year to being out of work -- it's not just the Government that shuts when the Government shuts in this company town.

You and me both. It's a screwed up world when you have to think "I shouldn't have paid off the car."

If this is short, I'll be okay. If it drags into the debt ceiling talks...

I would have been grateful to have had things paid off. Although yeah, it would have been nice to have the cushion.

We never did get shut down the last time, but I can't remember why.
