Ready for work and nowhere to go

They actually did it. Threw hundreds of thousands of people out of work to make sure millions of people won't get healthcare. I just went from having a big bonus and all my leave planned out through the end of the year to being out of work -- it's not just the Government that shuts when the Government shuts in this company town.

There's not going to be capitulation. There's no benefit to the Dems to barter now, and the GOP is in disarray. This just lost them the next election and Cruz is so busy listening to the cheers in his head that he doesn't realize that he committed political suicide.

I sure hope it was political suicide - though he'll not be paying for it himself for another 4 years and my guess is he thinks the sheeple won't remember that far back...

We're still going to be picking up the pieces come the midterms. And traditional conservatives are just as pissed as the liberals. Hopefully pissed off enough to wrest the GOP back from the tea party.

Oh, yes, it's midterms next year, isn't it? I hope voters will remember - and that the gerrymandered districts don't give the Repubs too much of an advantage.
