That is really too bad, because you can't really have a conversation on Tumblr.
I see posts over there with thousands upon thousands of notes, mostly "likes" and "reblogs," but there's no way to aggregate comments and find out what everybody is thinking unless you chase down all the threads, and even then you'll miss things, and you can't cross-fertilize ideas. I have a Tumblr account, but I don't talk to anyone over there. I've had better conversations in the comments threads on Pinterest. (Pinterest, now, I love... but I still wouldn't use it as a place to talk to people.)
