The Mary Dickenson shop in Colonial Williamsburg. NOT. CHEAP. I paid double for a round-eared cap from them than I did for Jas Townsend's country cap. But I got two sets of white cotton clocked stockings, and two round-eared caps (direct from their creator) and a short gown in a very light fabric. I'm size zaftig and a "large" fit, to my surprise.

So now I have a selection of caps, some accurate stockings, and a heavy and a light short gown. Add that to the two cheater's gowns (chemise and skirt in one) from Townsend and I'm pretty well off.
