Whoo Hoo!

I'm SO in the right place. Not only are all the engineers and managers happy to see me (as opposed to so many places where "we'll let the engineers write all the documentation, after all, they did all the programming"), but I just had a long discussion with two of my co-workers about the relative literary merits (and interest in seeing the movies of) Lord of the Rings, Wind in the Door, Chronicles of Narnia, and Harry Potter. Why, yes, the trailer for HP 3 does rock!

And my manager told the IS people that I wouldn't be available to unbury them from their mountain of documentation until they fixed my name problem. It was fixed literally minutes afterwards - email, logons, the works. All I have to do now is get a new badge made up.
