Home again, home again, jiggity jig
Dec. 22nd, 2004 08:03 pmMy feet are sore, but I've gotten a lot accomplished today. Got to the homestead. Got most of the food for the rest of the week.
Dad's doing well, although he wasn't amused when I said "Welcome to my world. We're both aching, leaking, and tired." Asking him to smirk at menstrual humor was probably a bit much, although he did, when pressed by Mother, admit that that maxipad was very good for soaking up around his drain when he had it.
And I have some wierd mental block and once again forgot to bring my PJs, the second year in a row. So I scooted over to Vanity Fair, where I found a darling nightshirt - dark blue, with white polar bears and snowflakes on it. Nicely suitable for slumber parties. I also got a pile of very cute socks, as I am renouncing slippers. I've excavated two crickets and a woolly bear in various stages of dead from my slippers this year and Have Had ENOUGH!
