Is it possible to change a fundamental part of your nature? And to do so without breaking the parts of you you want to keep? It's the ultimate paradox of studying Zen (which I do now and then, in a so far fruitless attempt to change) - to want to stop wanting.

It took two rounds of picking out threads, a retensioning and a professional service, but Poohcifer just embroidered that celtic knot on that damn green dress!

Turns out I can only do one side due to hooping problems (not Poohcifer's fault, I can't balance the pattern on the other side without trapping boning or a grommet in the hoop), but I figure one knot is good enough. You can see a couple threads from an earlier attempt, but there's no sign of the hole.
