Threads magazine is evil
May. 3rd, 2005 10:42 amI'm just sayin' that they make temptation far too tempting.
This issue had an article on doing machine embroidery, which included a short list of supplies for blanks. So I've been surfing this morning and I think some of these links ought to be advertised. Because even if you don't have an embroidery machine it's nice to know where you can buy $10 denim shirts and $13 polo shirts. Or dishtowels for $3.50. How about book covers for less than 2 bucks?
Oh, and Rennies - for those of us still working on our BFA, following a link Threads had to an Elizabethan pattern netted a link to The Bard's English.
Oh! Know what I'm gonna do? I think for next year's MS walk fundraiser I'll buy, dye, and embroider a bunch of the book covers with the awareness ribbon & sell 'em.
