I aten't dead
Mar. 28th, 2006 08:57 pmJust a quick note to say "I aten't dead"; too wrapped up in job orientation, adjusting to commute & hours, etc. I had originally been thinking that I'd put in my time and try to creep my hours back forward to something I'm more used to, but y'know? I'm SO thrilled to not be getting up at 5:30am, you can't believe.
Been discussing vacation with my boss. Stratford is covered and already marked on the main calendar. However, more immediate plans are being rethought. I won't be at Malice on Friday; it's a pity about the dessert social, but I won't miss any panels I wanted. With Friday out of the question, I'm trying to figure out how to juggle the St. George Greek Fest vs the Sheep & Wool festival; the obvious answer is to do one on Saturday and one Sunday, but which? The S&W has the pull of novelty, but I've had good hunting at the flea market at St. George, something which requires early attendance.
And it's looking more and more likely that I'm going to fly to M*W; I'm simply not going to be able to take the extra time for that drive or to recover from the stress of that. Between the plane ticket and possibly only sharing the room with one other person, this suddenly got a lot more expensive...
