Slept terribly last night, leading to a drugged feeling and the dread that today is going to be "one of those days."

The lawn service I fired last week mowed my lawn yesterday. I have already called and told them to go away for a second time. They had better not dream of billing me for undesired services rendered.

I am vastly amused by a British review that refers to a passionate kiss as "a huge, plungerlike snog." Well, that's one way of looking at it!

Have decided to do early registration at Malice after work tomorrow. Won't be there on Friday, but will be there on Sat until the banquet and Sunday after the tea.

Have not been able to decide if I'm going to keep the remaining Who books as airport reading on the way to Media*West or to read 'em now.

Still can't figure out how to buy the collected Doctor Nine comics.

Have bought a bunch of old Davison tapes off ebay; returning to Dr. Who is so far proving far more economical than returning to Beauty & the Beast fandom... but then, in BatB, there was someone deliberately ripping off fans via ebay, and I stumbled like an idiot into her trap more than once.

That is all. If I can pull any brain cells together at all, I'll draft "Knit Two Together" and get that posted up here for beta today.

This is utterly self-indulgent; I knit, I like Dr. Who, I wanted to see if I could riff off of that.

Title: Knit Two Together
Characters: Jack, Rose, Nine
Rating: G (for goopy)
Spoilers: Up through "Dalek"

'It didn’t seem to bother you to be worshipped as a god.' 'Eh, s’happened before,' the Doctor muttered. )

AKA, I'm too tired to come up with anything clever and I'm trying to figure out the best use of the hour-plus I'll be spending every day heading to Malice this weekend. Besides, I've been friended by a whole bunch of people and I don't actually know what y'all want to read.

[Poll #713085]

ETA: It's not letting me edit the poll, so I'll accept a comment as a vote for "Items of interest from the con AND hot steaming Whovian smut." Smartasses! :>

Archived here so I can find it later:

Knitting Help, which is the best knitting technique resource on the web because it has quicktime movies of all the stitches. I can never follow the diagrams, but with this I can watch it in real time and pause when I need.
