The State of the Nea
Jun. 1st, 2006 08:13 amThe weekend is going to be busy - Prepare for Fair #4 is on Saturday, and I have to throw myself bodily into Shore Leave prep from now until the con - but last night was a wonderful interlude of indolence. I spent much of it downloading vids and reading naughty fanfic, which is a pretty lovely way to spend one's time. Huzzah for the resolutions list, which has gotten me so in control of my life that I could do so!
Before Media*West, I'd never heard They Might Be Giants' "The Sun;" now I've seen two vids with it. It's currently stuck in my head, but considering the rest of the strangeness in my skull, a voice burbling "The sun is a mass of incadescent gas" is at least within a stone's throw of normal.
But just because I couldn't be normal if I tried, there is some wierdness. Y'know how some people come home from a con with a cold? I seem to have come home with ringworm. There's a dim possibility that I caught it from my own cat, but midway through M*W is when it manifested. Feh.
