neadods: (contemplative)
I have flunked culture for an evening. I had a chance to see a reading of London Assurance, my favorite play of the Stratford season... and I turned it down at the nth hour, not believing that Ger Wyn Davis really was in it, and because I *had* just seen it at Stratford just a couple weeks ago. (I may have, but he *was* and damn, that would have been hilarious!)

My friends list is squeeing over "Heroes" this morning, and I completely spaced that it was on.

What did I do last night? Make tomato soup with inadvertently chewy cheese, do a load of laundry, and pay the bills. Then go to bed early.

I feel... mundane.

(And yet I will also be turning down the Neil Gaiman signing on Friday, because just hearing about the venue changes is making me claustophobic. It's going to be a mob, and that's all there is to it. Damned pity he's not staying for the National Book Festival. You'd think that if it was just the next day they'd invite him again, since he's already in town.)
