Been some very good fic going up lately:

Christmas in April

It's yet another cold blustery day, I'm exhausted, my arm hurts, and I'm not enjoying being a girl ifyaknowhatImean, but I came home to oodles of lovely mail that makes up for it.

In one day I've gotten:
- My anticipated yarn order (8 skeins of Fiesta yarns rayon boucle, 4 in "Coyote" and 4 in "vanilla," plus a bonus Ballet skein in African Violet... hmm, what can I do with 350 yards of handpainted yarn?)
- The complete works of Penn Masala, and
- The latest three Who tie-in novels, Wooden Heart, Sting of the Zygons (sounds like a classic gothic horror plot) and the much wanted The Last Dodo. (I loved her Winner Takes All; it and Stealers of Dreams are my unchallenged favorites of the new Who tie-ins.)

I delivered five reviews to Reviewing the Evidence Monday, I'm pulling the Sunday 7 tonight, the bills get done over the next couple of days, and the for-pay story is in the polishing stages (I'm hoping to have it delivered by Saturday night) - which will leave me Sunday to shamelessly indulge my jones for Martha Jones.

In two weeks there's Malice Domestic; in five there's Media*West. The tax rebates are all in, so I can afford them both.

Life just got a little bit nicer tonight.
