Quantity vs Size: a crafting question
May. 8th, 2007 03:36 pmI was trying to make an effort to break my run of posting every day, but I can't decide for myself and people like polls.
I'm working on a knitted quilt, the pattern for which is 9 squares inside a big square block (Irish chain, to be specific). I can't decide if I should knit each individual square as its own thing - a huge number, but very portable - or each block of nine squares as a multi-yarned, long-needled beast (not at all portable, but less joining in the end).
