neadods: (contemplative)
There aren't many of the Really Important Resolutions that I haven't broken this week. I've only exercised once. I've eaten tons of candy. I've started buying takeout again, I've used my credit card, and I've been on ebay *and* amazon.

How easy it is to slide back to bad behavior!

And my arm aches, damnit.

*sigh*

Tomorrow I start all over again. I'll take the AmEx back out of my wallet (it was still loitering from M*W). I'll take my spiffy writing check and see if my provincial credit union will even let me deposit the thing (it's in pounds sterling; I have no idea if they'll handle foreign currency). I'll look at the scary Rooms Of Crap and try to whip up some enthusiasm for the still-undone Sunday 7. I'll get on the treadmill and find out what happens in the next episode of Exotron (the carrot at the end of the stick is that I'm *only* listening to a lot of my BBC and Big Finish audios on the treadmill).

And when my stuff comes, I'm going to play with it, because what I've been buying was also a bit carrotish. I've been having a lot of fun with my grandmother's old dutch oven but wanted a smaller enamel iron pot; on ebay I got a "2 qt cocoette" which I can't even pronounce but basically means "smaller enamelled iron pot."

The other indulgence was something I keep looking at every now and then - a couple of bento boxes. Long story short, the tupperware I've got doesn't hold much - couple of grapes, a sandwich, a container of applesauce. Then I'm hungry and eat out of the machines. I'm hoping that having the bentos will allow me to compactly take more, healthier food. We'll see. If it does work in the short run, I'll get a couple more so I can prefill a week's worth and just grab 'n' go.
