This almost read "job hunt" 7 times over - in upcoming weeks it might yet - but due to my parents coming down for the weekend, there has been some action on the Sunday 7.
1. Odd Job: This is going to read "job hunt" until future notice, the energy going to finding opportunities, going on interviews, and pulling an interview-ready wardrobe together.
2. Decluttered: Finally got the bathroom counter more or less picked up. Also started organizing the audiobooks. I'd been holding that off until I had the boxes to organize them *into,* but got tired of dealing with the stacks and started putting them in the spaces where the baskets are to go and hoping they don't fall on my head without baskets to contain them.
3. Knitalong: 29, with #30 to be finished in about an hour. This is out of 55 blocks, so I'm really booking along. (Item 4 will explain why.)
4. Indulgence: Until future notice, this is going to read "hanging out at Tangled Skein." I went to the sit-and-knit (now dubbed the "sit-and-stitch" for the crocheters) which was also a wine-and-cheese party on Wednesday, and on Friday there was the big one-year anniversary sale with nibbles and live music.
Items Dealt With:
5. Grandfather's china dog - given back to Mother
6. CDs set aside for selling that store didn't want - given to parents for library sale
7. Grill pans - freecycled, as M pointed out we never use them.
While they've been down here, Dad (whose hobby was carpentry) has been looking at my ideas for reorganizing my closet, and will teach me breadmaking before he goes back home today. ETA: Not only didn't we have the time for making bread, Dad seems to have absentmindedly packed up his book and my book on the subject and taken them home with him. On the other hand, we are closer to having the closet redone and the garage door fixed. Closer. Not done, but closer.
ETA2: No, he didn't take them home, he put them away a bit randomly in my bookshelves. I hate it when other people put things away in my house, I can't find them!
