Status report.

Dad's home safe, and surprisingly perky. He has decided he's growing a mustache, and he's watched the LED sheep thing. He has also pronounced the car "cute," having seen it from his bedroom window.

Mother has a a full fridge of food from the neighbors and decided that she'd like chai if it went a little easier on the cloves.

I am also home safe, obviously, and there's nothing like a long drive to make you rethink things - the seat, seat back, and steering wheel have all been adjusted from where they were when I started out. However, the part about fuel efficiency is true; I used much less gas than normal when I hit my pit stop.

My family is decidedly boring, but I know some of y'all were worried about Dad.
