NY state of mind & a poll
Jun. 2nd, 2009 07:21 pmI think I'm figuring out what to do in NYC this Saturday. I want to go - inexpensive trips don't come often, and it's New York City! On the other hand, I don't want to spend a lot of money... and it's New York City.
So while I do want to stick my nose in my favorite yarn store, I think my first stop is going to be the public library, where I will ask if they have anything I can use for the missionary project. I think the answer will be no (or possibly "Kah-ah-WHO?"), but no harm in asking. Then head north to my favorite yarn store, stare at the pretty colors for a while, then back to the pickup point, grab a dinner I can eat on the bus, and home.
New Yorkers - any interesting street fairs, green markets, flea markets this Saturday? I've got a list, but I think it's out of date.
The poll. I've been on a self-help book kick at the moment and writing down bullet points of lessons learned (if I think there's anything worth it in the book.) Waffling as to if I should post here under cut; if anyone else would be interested.
