Today, a man shot several people, including an anti-abortion protester. The reason given was that he was offended that the man was protesting outside a high school and the kids shouldn't be exposed to that - so instead, Harlan James Drake exposed the students and teachers to deadly violence.
Because I've been writing about pro-choice issues, I want to make something *absolutely* clear:
I condemn the cold-blooded murder of James Pouillon.
NO caveats about what he was doing or how and where he chose to do it. My opinions on that are irrelevant; Pouillon was within his Constitutional rights.
NO "but I understand why..." because I do not. I reject that reasoning utterly. What I understand is that today Drake made things at the clinics that much more dangerous for the escorts - and the protesters.
NOTHING. JUSTIFIES. VIOLENCE.
